(this is my own take on the recipe, does not match completely. also, i have not actually tried making it yet :P)
Recipe
cook in rice cooker or pot.
(if adding legumes or fresh meat, pay attention to cooking times!!!!!!!!! especially for beans it would be better to cook/half-cook separately and then turn it into curry)
- ADD curry powder(or block), to vegetable/chicken broth/water
- START heating
- ADD potato slices, veggies, apple slices, and a protein such as legumes or chicken
- COOK ingredients throughly. while waiting, prepare coffee if using fresh
- ADD red wine
- ADD honey, cinnamon, salt, sesame seeds, soy sauce, instant/brewed coffee, cocoa powder/dark chocolate, cornstarch/potatostarch/flour, and yogurt/applesauce/mashed banana/tomato sauce
- (if by this point you haven't added any meat or dairy, then make sure to add a healthy fat! (e.g. olive oil)
- SIMMER for a bit
- ENJOY
Low Spoon Adaptations
WAYS TO MAKE IT EASIER:
use canned/frozen goods or other conveniences (e.g. individual applesauce cups, instant coffee, individually-portioned apple slices...)
SIMPLE RECIPE VERSION:
curry powder, water, canned legumes/meat(drain+rinse), frozen/canned veggies(drain+rinse), applesauce/banana(to thicken the curry + cut the spice)
- combine in a large food container, store in fridge
- microwave in a bowl for each portion--no need to cook it beforehand
Pairings
CURRY AND...
- rice
- noodles (instant ramen works in a pinch--drain water, don't use flavor packet)
- bread (the curry can also be used as a filling to make "curry bread")
WHAT ELSE?
- coffee (wow just like persona 5)
